Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care at Uppingham Hung Yen: The Heart of Our School
Pastoral care is a responsibility shared by our entire community. Every staff member has a pastoral role, from teachers and house parents to nurses, counsellors and support staff. Our "network of care" thoughtfully and kindly supports each student throughout their education. We provide a comprehensive support network that helps pupils navigate the exciting challenges of growing up. Our family-orientated environment fosters constant, positive interaction between pupils and adults, building a culture of mutual care, respect and trust.

Clear ExpectationsOur disciplinary systems are integral to our pastoral support, providing pupils with understandable boundaries that promote security, responsibility and respect for others.
-
Proactive and Compassionate ApproachWe strive to address concerns before they arise through open communication and observation, while always being ready to provide compassionate and expert care when it is needed most.
Preparing for Life's Journey
Our pastoral care focuses on helping pupils build the confidence and resilience they need to cope with life’s ups and downs. In a world of ever-changing pressures, we provide a stable, nurturing community where students can find their balance, discover their strengths and develop into confident, compassionate and enthusiastic global citizens.
