Uppingham Hung Yen offers junior and senior pupils an exceptional education on a purpose-built 4.7 hectares site in Ecopark, widely viewed as the ‘lung of Hanoi’ with its plush, green surrounds.
Our campus supports pupils to embrace learning in an environment that brings nature to the classroom door – nestled in a sustainable, ecological community where urban living intertwines with nature.
The Hanoi campus extends the pioneering holistic educational ethos of Uppingham UK, a leading co-educational independent school founded in 1584, that provides a world-class education and has another school in Cairo.
Uppingham chose Ecopark as its first location in Vietnam for its natural appeal, to give our pupils the facilities and space they need to support them as they build curiosity, confidence and become global ready citizens.
By fostering an environment where students feel confident to express ideas and challenge assumptions, we guide them to develop the discernment and analytical thinking essential for success in a rapidly evolving world.
Our new joint venture with VCE and 20in20 Partners brings together global educational expertise and local insights to manage our school operations.
Our campus architecture, overseen by the renowned British firm Broadway & Malyan, provides a state-of-the-art environment that reflects Uppingham’s commitment to providing a world-class holistic education.
The Uppingham curriculum is designed to be as rigorous as it is flexible, to meet the highest UK school standards while serving our local community.
ECOPARK
Ecopark is a 500ha haven just 25 minutes’ drive from the city. Since construction began in 2019, Ecopark has become a vibrant site with nearly 20,000 residents, projected to reach 110,000 residents by 2030.
The Ecopark precinct is a green township development alongside the Bac Hung Hai river known in feng shui to represent prosperity and security, and is scheduled for full completion by 2030.
It has been planned with more than 20 per cent of the area being water and green, to be a green urban area with projections to house 110,000 residents by 2030.
Ecopark is designed as a green, modern, accessible environment to support a “humane and prosperous community” – to “enjoy high quality utilities to live healthy, live happily and truly experience a ‘full life’”.
Premium amenities at Ecopark will include hospitals, sports complexes, Els Performance Golf Academy, green parks, clubs and an event centre – a hub where residents and visitors will be able to picnic, cycle in large parks, shop and find leisure in festivals and markets.
