Sharing in the immense pride as our founding pupils officially stepped through the school gates, Dr. Richard Maloney, Headmaster of Uppingham School, sent a heartfelt congratulatory message to the Senior Leadership Team, teachers, and staff of Uppingham School Hung Yen.

Founded in 1584 in Rutland, England, and with 442 years dedicated to nurturing the intellect and character of generations of pupils, Uppingham takes pride in being one of the UK’s most distinguished boarding schools.
The moment our first cohort of pupils walked with confidence onto the Uppingham School Hung Yen campus on 7th September was a vivid testament to a flourishing legacy:
